The psychologist who trampled on a poster about contraception at a women's clinic in Yekaterinburg admitted he was wrong.
The Sverdlovsk head of the perinatal psychologists' service, Mark Itskovich, admitted that he was wrong when he tore down a poster about methods of contraception at a women's clinic in Yekaterinburg. He even said he was ashamed.
"I reacted emotionally. I'm a temperamental person, an officer, twice on deployments to hot spots; sometimes impulsiveness shows. Because my personal position is this: if a child has appeared, it's better that he live," Ura.Ru quotes Itskovich.
He also understands that women's clinics, the Ministry of Health and the medical service as a whole advocate preserving motherhood for women who have conceived a child. But the clinics' functions also include warning about unwanted pregnancies.
Recall that the day before, on October 1, in one of Yekaterinburg's women's clinics Itskovich, together with a member of the Public Chamber and head of the Women for Life fund, Natalya Moskvitina, tore down and stomped on a poster with information about contraceptive methods.
