October 5, 2025 Residents of the building at 17 Armavirskaya Street complained of a strong smell of gas.
"There is a smell of gas in several stairwells," a local resident told the E1.RU portal.
It turned out that a similar problem has been observed in other buildings. Reports of the smell have come from Belorechenskaya, Gurzufskaya, Bebel and Posadskaya streets, at minimum.
Some even say the smell can be detected throughout the city.
"The smell is everywhere — I was going to the airport — along the bypass from Deryabina all the way to Koltsovo," a Yekaterinburg woman told the outlet.
