Residents of Yekaterinburg complained about delays in deliveries from a popular marketplace.

Yekaterinburg residents are complaining about delays in deliveries from Wildberries. Some wait for orders for weeks, while others have their goods taken to other cities.

A Yekaterinburg resident told the E1.RU portal that on September 15 she ordered a table on the marketplace. It was supposed to be delivered on the 19th, but the table never arrived.

The woman contacted customer support but got no response. The order status shows that it was sorted on September 17, but nothing happened after that.

Wildberries’ press service said that an internal check found that the seller had not shipped the item to the marketplace’s warehouse.

“We contact the customer and confirm the order’s relevance before proceeding with delivery,” the company clarified.

Another customer ordered a linen cupboard, a writing desk and a tall cabinet on the platform, paying for the furniture and its delivery. In mid‑September the buyer received a notification that her order had been delivered, but in fact nothing had arrived. It turned out the furniture had been delivered to the Moscow Region, not Yekaterinburg.

“The status ‘Delivered’ was mistakenly applied without an actual delivery. A refund to the customer has been issued — it will be credited to their account in the coming days,” the company emphasized.

Wildberries said these cases are isolated.

“Wildberries is recording a record number of customer orders on the platform, which is explained by the start of the high sales season and the well‑planned strategies of our sellers. As order volumes increase we are increasing our fleet, engaging additional performers (couriers and drivers) to ensure timely delivery of goods. Our automated system also helps choose the fastest routes so that during peak hours we can avoid traffic as much as possible,” WB said.

Earlier it was reported that a Yekaterinburg resident has been waiting two months for a parcel from Ozon.
