
A model from Yekaterinburg lost the battle for the title 'Miss Russia' — photo
Twenty-three-year-old model Dina Safina from Yekaterinburg, who reached the final of the all-Russian "Miss Russia" competition, failed to win the contest. The young woman was eliminated from the competition, remaining in the top 50. The contest took place in Moscow at the Barvikha Luxury Village concert hall.
Dina did not make the superfinal, for which 20 contestants were selected. In the end, Anastasia Venza from the Moscow Region won.
Dina studied at New York University, where she studied business in the entertainment industry and film directing. While living in the U.S., she ran a YouTube channel.
This year "Miss Russia" was chosen by Russian performer Dmitry Malikov, composer Vladimir Matetsky, stylist Igor Kimyashov, Miss Universe 2002 Oksana Fedorova, singer and TV presenter Tatyana Kotova, fashion designer and Honored Artist of Russia Igor Chapurin, and the contest’s CEO Anastasia Belyak.
