
Four people were killed in a tractor accident near Yekaterinburg.
On the previous day, October 4, four people died in a traffic accident on the 28th kilometer of the road between Talitsa and Butka, including one child. The State Traffic Inspectorate of the Sverdlovsk Region reported that an unregistered MTZ-82 tractor moved into the oncoming lane and collided with a Kia Rio. All occupants of the passenger car were killed: a 27-year-old male driver, a 26-year-old woman, a 20-year-old woman and a 4-year-old girl. All were residents of Talitsa and were traveling to the village of Kazakovskoye. The child was being transported in a child car seat. The tractor was being driven by a resident of Tugulym. He was sober at the time of the accident. He told traffic police officers that the tractor made an involuntary lurch into the oncoming lane. This will be determined during the investigation. The Talitsa District Prosecutor’s Office has taken the incident under its supervision. Earlier it was reported that in Yekaterinburg a drunk man stole a Volkswagen, crashed into a pole and overturned.
