A stalker has appeared in Yekaterinburg, hanging up frightening notices.

Yekaterinburg residents noticed suspicious notices on utility poles — in the city center and in the Zarechny neighborhood. From the wording it is not clear whether he is confessing love or threatening an acquaintance.

The notice lists the first name, last name and date of birth of the woman to whom they are dedicated. The text even includes a link to a VKontakte page where the author has posted dozens of strangely worded posts.

“I would be immeasurably happy if, after death, we were laid together, in an embrace, ideally with our heads to each other, face to face, and if I could, I would smile,” the portal E1.RU quotes the message as saying.

The woman declined to speak to the publication, but her father clarified that a complaint has been filed against the author of these messages.

The author himself told the media that he has been in love with this woman for 12 years, but she does not return his feelings. Commenters told the man that the woman is married and asked him to leave her alone. She has long since blocked him everywhere, but he continues to post her photos and publish strange posts.

According to Yekaterinburg lawyer Sergey Teterin, the man’s actions can be considered a criminal offense. In his view the police have grounds to open a case. Thus, at the very least, the man is illegally disseminating the woman’s personal data.

Earlier in Yekaterinburg a sadistic live-in partner, after prolonged stalking, killed the mother of his child.
