In Yekaterinburg, a bus driver decided to drive around a traffic jam right on the sidewalk. The video of the incident quickly spread online, and now the offender and the carrier have been summoned to the traffic police.
On the morning of October 21, residents of Yekaterinburg were a bit surprised to see on the line at the usual time not the brand-new "Kastor" but the old, familiar "Tatra" tram.
As the conductor told a Uralweb.ru reader, the new tram that leaves the loop at Volgogradskaya at around 8:30 a.m. broke down this morning. It is unclear whether this was related to the recent frosts.
She noted that she was even called into work unexpectedly. It should be recalled that new trams no longer have conductors at all.
Unfortunately, the old trams have clearly outlived their usefulness. For example, on this route the last door of the second carriage would not close. Passengers had to close it manually today at the driver's request.
Overall, on route 18 all the trams are now new. More of these will soon appear in Yekaterinburg.
