A Sverdlovsk teenager who was stabbed twice by a friend transferred to another school because of bullying.

The 13-year-old who received two stab wounds in the back from his friend transferred to another school because of bullying by classmates, his mother Tatyana told KP-Yekaterinburg.

"He had been homeschooled until October 1; then he went to school and the bullying began. He was insulted by those who associate with his former friend. The last straw came when they began calling my son names because of the scars on his back. I called the education department and we were provided a place at another school. He likes it there more," Tatyana complained to KP-Yekaterinburg.

Recall, it all happened in the spring in Verkhnyaya Pyshma. Three classmates, who had known each other for about six years, went out for a walk. The teenagers quarreled, and one of the students was stabbed.

A video circulated on social media showing the teenager walking down the street calling for help. The young man was taken to hospital in serious condition; one of his lungs had been punctured twice. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under the article "Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm against a minor." It was later closed because the teenagers had not reached the age of criminal responsibility.

According to the boy's mother, she is now trying to obtain compensation for moral damages through the courts. The claim is being heard in the Verkhnepyshminsky City Court.

Earlier in Yekaterinburg a crowd of teenagers brutally beat a man for refusing to give them money.
