In Yekaterinburg, two men attacked an employee of a parcel pickup point on Pobedy Street.
According to police, the woman refused to hand over a new iPhone to customers without payment, after which the attackers tried to seize the phone by force. In addition, they stole a work laptop and several customers’ orders from the warehouse.
Footage from the camera shows one of the assailants jumping over the counter and restraining the employee while the other rips the cables out of the laptop, takes her phone and goes into the warehouse. The criminals failed to find the iPhone, but the total damage exceeded 50,000 rubles.
— The pickup point employee is experiencing severe stress. She was left with bruises, abrasions, and pain in her jaw and neck. One of the attackers was heavily intoxicated with alcohol, the other — reportedly under the influence of drugs. Later they sold everything they had stolen, — an eyewitness told E1.RU.
The perpetrators were detained the same day by officers of the Russian National Guard and the police.
— The detainees turned out to be previously convicted young men born in 2002 and 2003. They were taken to the duty unit and gave confessions. A criminal case has been opened against both on a charge of “robbery,” — the agency’s press service reported.
