On the evening of November 2, at around 20:10 on the Zaykovo–Pyankovo–Kharlovskoye–Znamenskoye road in Irbitsky District, a 20-year-old driver fatally struck a 16-year-old teenager.
According to preliminary information from the State Traffic Inspectorate of Sverdlovsk Oblast, the driver of a VAZ-2110 was traveling from the direction of the village of Galisheva toward the village of Kharlovskoye, striking three pedestrians who were walking along the shoulder. After that, the person responsible for the accident abandoned the car and fled the scene.
As a result of the crash, the 16-year-old boy died at the scene from his injuries. The two other victims — a 15-year-old girl and a 21-year-old woman — were taken to the Irbit Central City Hospital (State Healthcare Institution of Sverdlovsk Oblast).
Police managed to locate the VAZ driver. He turned out to be a 20-year-old resident of the village of Galisheva. An investigation is underway.
