"A Bad Apartment." Neighbors consider the house where a husband stripped the skin off his wife to be cursed.

      The murder of his 50-year-old wife Olga by 56-year-old Rafis Khuzin, which shocked not only Novoberezovsky but the entire Sverdlovsk region, took place in the old house that Rafis had been rebuilding with his own hands. According to neighbors, the little house had long had a bad reputation.

      For both spouses this was not their first marriage; each has a child from a previous family. Rafis and Olga moved into this little house after they married in 2015, reports E1.RU special correspondent Darya Manokhina.

      Six years ago Rafis decided to rebuild the house with his own hands. Working alone, without asking anyone for help, he replaced the floor and the ceiling.

      Relatives and neighbors, in general, describe him as a withdrawn and quiet person. According to his brother, Rafis never had friends and did not greet his neighbors.

      According to the street elder, both husband and wife liked to drink. Olga often came home openly drunk; Rafis would make a scene about it.

      And yet neighbors believe the house the couple lived in is cursed. This is already the third murder to have occurred in it, writes E1.RU.

      Recall that Rafis, while drunk, during another quarrel stabbed his wife who had come home. As reported, it was over her complaints that he had not cooked the soup. The body lay in the shed for four days. The woman's skin had been partially torn off. Rafis wanted to dismember the corpse but could not and he himself reported the crime to his brother and the police.
