A Porsche Cayenne crammed with kilograms of drugs was stopped en route from Moscow to the Urals.

A Porsche Cayenne, literally stuffed with drugs, was stopped on the Kostroma–Sharya–Kirov–Perm highway by Perm police, Telegram channel “Police of Prikamye” reports. The sale of around 15 kilograms of narcotics was thwarted.

The operation was carried out by operatives of the Directorate for Drug Control of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Perm Krai together with police from Krasnokamsk. Two local residents, aged 34 and 27, were in the stopped vehicle.

The car was literally crammed with drugs. Officers found 16 packages of amphetamine, mephedrone and cocaine, with a total weight of more than 15 kilograms (!).

Preliminary findings indicate the shipment came to Perm from Moscow for further repackaging and distribution by means of stash drops.

At the homes of both detainees, police also found a number of items of interest: packaging, traces of criminal activity and even drugs for personal use.

The detainees have been taken into custody. They have been charged with attempted sale of drugs on an especially large scale (Part 3 of Art. 30, Part 5 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

Police are currently establishing one of the accused’s involvement in organizing a drug shop.
