Tatyana Savinova appointed a new director of the Sverdlovsk Medical College.
Deputy Governor — Minister of Health of the Sverdlovsk Region, Tatyana Savinova, introduced to the staff of the Sverdlovsk Regional Medical College the new director — Anatoly Volodin, appointed to the position on November 5. The previous head, Irina Levina, who led the college for more than 25 years, will continue to work as Director for Strategic Development.
Addressing the employees, Anatoly Volodin emphasized the significance of the college and the contribution of his predecessor, thanks to whom the institution has achieved a high level of professionalism and recognition.
— It is a great honor for me to lead one of the leading institutions of secondary professional medical education in Russia. The college has a well-deserved reputation and a rich history of achievements. I am a proponent of introducing advanced educational technologies and digital solutions, but at the same time I intend to preserve the unique traditions and developments accumulated at the Sverdlovsk Medical College, the new director noted.
Volodin was born in 1972. He graduated from the Orenburg Regional Basic Medical School and the Orenburg State Medical Academy. From 2022 to 2025 he headed the Orenburg Regional Medical College. He is a Candidate of Medical Sciences, an associate professor, and a laureate of the Coordination Council of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation award in the field of medical education and science.
