November 6, 2025. Residents of Yekaterinburg are getting injured due to icy roads. Two local women have already suffered fractures — a young woman and an 84-year-old pensioner.

“The 84-year-old grandmother slipped on Uktus and lay on the ground for about an hour while waiting for the ambulance,” writes the Telegram channel Ural Mash.
The woman was diagnosed with a broken leg. Earlier, the young woman fell and broke her ankle near the railway station.
Ural Mash reported that the mayor’s office said municipal workers had been instructed to spread de-icing agents across the city.
Earlier, rescuers warned residents of Sverdlovsk Oblast about icy conditions.
