In Yekaterinburg, well-known figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva will perform at the opening of the city rink.

Medvedeva will be one of the main guests at the ceremony opening the rink on the square. The celebration is expected to take place on December 12, if weather conditions allow the ice to be properly prepared, park director Pavel Zubakin said at a TASS press conference.
World champion Elizaveta Tuktamysheva will also perform at the opening, and the participation of one of the Olympic champions is still being confirmed — the athlete’s name has not yet been disclosed.
