The head of Yekaterinburg convened a working group to return kiosks to the streets.
The head of Yekaterinburg, Alexey Orlov, held the first meeting of the working group on the placement of non-stationary trading facilities. He reported this on his Telegram channel.
Finding a solution that would take into account the interests of all participants was previously tasked to the authorities of the Ural capital by Governor Denis Pasler. Residents and entrepreneurs who felt aggrieved appealed to the head of the region.
The working group is tasked with developing transparent rules for the operation of non-stationary trading facilities that would be acceptable to all and strictly enforced.
At the initial stage, meetings will be held on a weekly basis. Representatives of the industry, deputies of the City Duma, district heads, and representatives of the region's agro-industrial complex took part in the first day's work.
“We must find a balance of interests while complying with the law and federal regulatory requirements. We will take into consideration all the proposals voiced today. We will discuss them in detail at the next meeting in a week,” Alexey Orlov promised.
