      A 600-meter-long section has been set aside for the future tracks. The project is part of the large-scale transport solution — the 43-kilometer "Southwestern Bypass" — which will allow the creation of a unified tram network in the city.

      Earlier it was reported that another tram line could be laid from Akademichesky to central Yekaterinburg. Thus, a new street will appear between the Southwestern Bypass and Akademichesky on which tram tracks will be laid.
