At Kindergarten No. 81 in Yekaterinburg, a teacher shoved soap into the mouth of a 6-year-old child. The EAN agency reports this.

As the boy’s mother told EAN, the teacher, Tatyana Klimovets, heard from other children in the group that her child had said a bad word. According to the mother, the teacher grabbed the boy by the hand, “dragged him” to the bathroom in front of the whole group, and, forcing his mouth open, shoved a piece of soap into it.

“The child cried, screamed. In response to my complaints the teacher said, ‘What’s the big deal? A normal disciplinary measure, I’ve been doing this for about 20 years,’” the woman who spoke to EAN said. She added that her son needed consultation with a psychologist; he does not want to attend kindergarten.

The woman filed a report with the police and with the mayor’s public reception office. The mother is insisting on the dismissal of the woman who harmed her son.

“The statement was registered at Police Station No. 2,” EAN was told by the city police press group. The boy still goes to kindergarten, but teacher Klimovets has been moved to another group pending the investigation.

It should be noted that a new children’s ombudsman recently took office in Sverdlovsk Oblast. Tatyana Titova believes that educators should not even touch children and that all issues concerning their behavior should be resolved only in the presence of parents.
