Health inspectors shut down a butter-packaging workshop in Yekaterinburg for a month.

The operation of the packaging workshop for butter and spreads has been suspended for 30 days in Yekaterinburg, the Office of Rospotrebnadzor for the Sverdlovsk Region reports.

Three enterprises operate at the butter and spreads packaging workshop: individual entrepreneur V.P. Poletaev, LLC “Ural Butter”, and LLC PK “Clean Products”. The activities of all three were banned, and the materials were forwarded to court.

Public health inspectors found numerous violations of sanitary and epidemiological requirements and of technical regulations at the facility.

Samples were taken. Laboratory tests showed that the water used and the swabs did not meet microbiological standards; the mass fraction of active chlorine in the disinfectant’s working solution exceeded permissible levels.

The Chkalovsky District Court suspended the operations of the individual entrepreneur and the two LLCs at the facility for 30 days.
