In Yekaterinburg they cannot close the "Produkty" pavilion that sells alcohol.
Police and representatives of the public, represented by Dmitry Chukreev, a member of the Public Chamber of Yekaterinburg, raided the "Produkty" trading pavilion at 23/1 Kosmonavtov Avenue. According to them, beer and strong alcohol were being sold there at all hours of the day and night.
As Dmitry Chukreev said, the term for the placement of the non-stationary retail outlet expired in May, but the entrepreneur who owns it appealed to the Arbitration Court and obtained interim measures (they remain in effect until a final decision is made in the case — Uralweb note).
Despite the fact that the sale of any alcoholic products in kiosks has been banned for more than 10 years, the whole of Uralmash and Elmach "stock up" at this kiosk, Chukreev reported.
"Now the refrigerators and storage shelves in the pavilion are empty — officers from Police Department No. 15 have seized from illegal circulation all the alcohol — beer, vodka and cognac. The products are of very dubious origin — there were no accompanying documents for them. Tobacco products have also been seized," writes the Telegram public page "Zloy Yekaterinburg."
