The Akademichesky District Court of Yekaterinburg sentenced former reality-show "Dom-2" participant Yana Makarova to five years in a general-regime penal colony on a charge of fraud on a particularly large scale, reports portal 66.RU.
According to the investigation, Makarova told her boyfriend, who was married, that she was fictitiously pregnant and began demanding money for "child support", medical expenses and improvements to housing conditions. Later she presented an entrepreneur with a forged birth certificate. In the end, the man handed her 23 million rubles.
But the execution of the sentence has been postponed until 2035 because the convict has a real eight-year-old child.
The woman appeared on "Dom-2" in 2019, albeit for only a month. For a time she was also in a relationship with rapper Guf.
