A woman died yesterday, December 2, in a traffic accident involving two foreign-made cars that occurred on Polevskoy Trakt near the turn to the settlement of Shabry (in the Chkalovsky District of Yekaterinburg), the State Traffic Inspectorate of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region reported.
According to preliminary information, the driver of an Infiniti entered the oncoming lane, where a Toyota was traveling at the time.
As a result of the collision, the woman driving the Toyota died of her injuries. An investigation has been launched.
"The State Traffic Inspectorate urges drivers to remain constantly vigilant, to strictly comply with traffic rules and to categorically refrain from driving a vehicle while intoxicated," the State Traffic Inspectorate said in connection with the accident.
