The Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Ural Federal District, Artem Zhoga, in his Telegram channel appealed to residents of the Urals to support the UFD cities in the public vote for the youth titles.
“The public vote has begun for the cities that will become symbols of Russia’s youth movement in 2026. I urge you to support the candidates from the Ural Federal District,” Zhoga’s Telegram channel reads. “In the ‘Youth Capital’ nomination I ask you to cast your vote for Chelyabinsk, and in the ‘City of Youth’ nomination — for Novy Urengoy.”
The plenipotentiary emphasized that the residents of the cities participating in the contest, according to its rules, could not vote themselves and therefore need support.
“Therefore I propose involving the entire Ural Federal District. You can make your choice until December 19 on the Gosuslugi portal at the link (https://pos.gosuslugi.ru/lkp/polls/558552/) in the ‘Polls’ section,” Artem Zhoga wrote.
