A medical college in Sverdlovsk urged rejecting abortion even after rape.
At a Sverdlovsk medical college, as part of the "Interfaith Anti-Extremism Task Force" project, Pavel Suslonov, a consultant for the region's Department of Internal Policy, urged not to have an abortion even after rape. This was reported by "4 Kanal".
At the event one of the students asked what should be done if a girl had been raped and she was a minor. Earlier Suslonov had stated that abortions should be banned.
"There is a theoretical possibility of handing the born child over to be raised in a baby home. This is not my position as an official, this is my opinion as a citizen," Suslonov said.
Earlier, a poster about methods of contraception was torn down and trampled in a Yekaterinburg hospital.
