Summer 1946. The world still remembers the horrors of war, but a new confrontation is already unfolding between the former allies, the USSR and the USA, at the center of which is the development of nuclear weapons. A series of daring robberies is taking place in Moscow, the true purpose of which is to serve as a cover for enemy agents sabotaging the Soviet atomic project — such is the premise of the series' continuation.
Investigator Rudakov (played by Viktor Dobronravov) must stop the spies and saboteurs to save the country from defeat in the nuclear arms race. Rudakov is searching for the mysterious "Yuvel," the head of the spy network. Each step of the investigation pushes Rudakov toward a grim conclusion: even his closest circle may include someone who has been recruited by the enemy.
The series was produced by VayT Media for the Rossiya TV channel. The continuation of the series will be released in 2026.
