The fee for major (capital) repairs will rise in Yekaterinburg.
From January 1, 2026, the fee for capital repairs in Yekaterinburg will increase. Thus, the rate will rise from 17.48 to 18.81 rubles per square meter.
The increase in contributions is related to rising wages and higher prices for construction materials. As noted by the general director of the regional capital repair fund, Stanislav Sukhanov, in recent years labor costs have been rising and material prices have not fallen, which has increased the estimated cost of the work and formed the new contribution rate for capital repairs, reports the portal 66.RU.
Earlier the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Sverdlovsk Region proposed raising the payment by 10% from 2026—to 19.23 rubles. However, according to the regional Department of Information Policy, Governor Denis Pasler ordered that the growth of the minimum contribution be kept as restrained as possible.
The previous increase took place in early 2025—then the fee for capital repairs rose by 3 rubles per square meter of housing.
