Payments to families in Sverdlovsk Oblast will be increased.

      From January 1, 2026, the amount of regional maternity capital in Sverdlovsk Oblast for families with a third or subsequent child will be increased — it will amount to 182,493 rubles. For the birth of triplets the payment will rise to 272,738 rubles. These funds will be paid in addition to the federal maternity capital and are already provided for in the draft regional budget for next year. The increase is linked to Governor Denis Pasler’s decision to index key social payments by 4% from the beginning of the year.

      The regional maternity capital is granted upon the birth or adoption of a third and each subsequent child, as well as upon the simultaneous birth of three children. In addition, according to the Social Fund of Russia, from February 1, 2026 the federal maternity capital is planned to be indexed: approximately to 737,200 rubles for the first child and to 974,100 rubles for the second — if the right to the payment has not been previously exercised. Thus, total support for large families in Sverdlovsk Oblast will exceed 1.1 million rubles, and in the case of the birth of triplets this amount will be even higher.
