Was not himself. The head of the law firm confirmed an influx of "dolinnykh".
After the court precedent involving singer Larisa Dolina (to whom the court left ownership of an apartment she had already sold and allowed not to return the buyer's money), clients in Yekaterinburg began turning to lawyers wanting to get back property they had previously sold under the "Dolina scheme." The director of one of the law firms told the Ural Mash Telegram channel about this.
As a lawyer told Ural Mash, after courts one after another sided with the artist, clients began actively contacting them, having decided to take advantage of the emerging judicial precedent.
"They started contacting us. About 4–5 a day, maybe. 'Shall we try to resolve my case by the same scheme?'" Lydia, the Ural Mash interlocutor, said.
The lawyer instructed colleagues to refuse, so as not to ruin their reputation by taking money for knowingly hopeless cases.
Mostly entrepreneurs are calling, Ural Mash writes. "Some ask to challenge loans and credits because at the time of signing they were allegedly 'not themselves'." Lydia advised such people not to get involved in such ventures, since sooner or later the deception will come to light.
Recall, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation — the court of last instance — overturned all previously issued decisions of lower courts in the Dolina case. Later the Moscow City Court ruled to evict the artist from the apartment she had sold, if necessary — with the involvement of bailiffs.
