In the Akademichesky district of Yekaterinburg, a child riding on a tube knocked an elderly woman off her feet. The incident occurred in Preobrazhensky Park, where the girl slid down the hill on a "bublik" and at speed flew onto the sidewalk, a relative of the injured woman told Fourth Channel.
The 71-year-old woman fell onto the asphalt, suffering facial injuries — her nose and lip were injured. According to relatives, medics recorded a severe bruise, swelling and hematomas.
According to the relative, the child's parents were at the bottom of the slope watching the riding but not supervising the situation and not admonishing the children. At the moment the pensioner was passing by, the girl on the tube crashed into her. After the incident the parents did not assist the injured woman and did not attempt to contact her — they took the children and left.
The incident was captured by surveillance cameras. The footage shows the child sliding down the hill straight onto the sidewalk and knocking the woman off her feet. The pensioner gets up on her own and walks away, while the family with the children leaves the scene in a different direction.
The relatives of the injured woman intend to locate the child's family and also to appeal to the prosecutor's office demanding that the dangerous slope be eliminated.
