The Liza Alert team in Sverdlovsk Oblast ranked among the top five by number of citizen requests.

By the number of missing-person search requests, the LisaAlert team in Sverdlovsk Oblast ranked 5th out of 66 regions that have LisaAlert in 2025. This is reported on the Sverdlovsk searchers' page on VKontakte.

Over the past year they received 1,342 requests (43 more than in 2024). As the Sverdlovsk LisaAlert team said, their structure includes a group that calls hospitals and a repost group. They note that a large number of missing people passed through Yekaterinburg as a transit city, "but something went wrong, and we searched railway stations and workers' hostels."

"This year there were miraculous coincidences and irreparable twists of circumstance, search efforts that never got under way and efforts that produced no result; sometimes it was joyful, sometimes very painful. We are not omnipotent, but we always fight to the last. Sometimes that fight goes on for months, years," say the LisaAlert volunteers.

The team will welcome new people. There is a particular need for volunteers in the north of the region. "Sverdlovsk Oblast, compared to regions of Central Russia, is very stretched out. To get to some missing people, you have to cover 200–300–400 km," LisaAlert explains.
