Three young men who raped a 15-year-old schoolgirl were detained in Yekaterinburg. It all happened on the night of January 11, when the girl argued with her mother and ran away from home.
According to KP‑Yekaterinburg, the minor got drunk and began walking around the Yugo‑Zapad area. On Akademika Bardina an unknown man approached her and offered to let her spend the night in a rented apartment. She agreed and fell asleep in a room into which three men entered a few minutes later.
According to preliminary reports, they are 23-year-old unemployed Eduard; his 26-year-old friend from Nizhniye Seregi, who has convictions for drug possession and theft; and 25-year-old Nikolai, who was also previously convicted of theft. They all live in Uralmash.
Eduard was detained shortly afterwards, and he has already identified his accomplices.
"The rapists were detained by detectives from Police Department No. 4," a source told KP‑Yekaterinburg.
It is also known that the victim is being raised in a single-parent family.
The press service of the Investigative Committee for the Sverdlovsk Region has not yet commented on the situation.
