The municipal unitary enterprise "Yekaterinburgenergo" has been officially declared bankrupt.
The Arbitration Court of the Sverdlovsk Region has declared the municipal unitary enterprise "Yekaterinburgenergo" bankrupt, reports Interfax-Ural. Competitive proceedings have been initiated at the enterprise.
According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the founder of the enterprise is the administration of Yekaterinburg. The bankruptcy petition for "Yekaterinburgenergo" was filed in July 2025 by JSC "Uralsevergaz" (which supplies gas to the boiler houses that provide resources to the networks of MUP "Yekaterinburgenergo").
The enterprise has long been listed in the register of potential bankrupts. At the same time, together with "T Plus," it is part of the Unified Heat Network Company, which provides 95% of the heating supply in Yekaterinburg and Berezovsky, reports the channel "Koroche, Yekaterinburg" in MAX.
The length of the heat networks of MUP "Yekaterinburgenergo" is 170 kilometers, and as previously reported, they have a high degree of wear and tear.
The total amount of the enterprise's debts to 10 creditors is about one billion rubles.
In the administration of Yekaterinburg, they explained to the E1.RU portal that the bankruptcy of the supplier will not affect consumers—no one will be left without heat.
