In Yekaterinburg, bus routes are changing forever.
Starting April 16, the traffic schemes for three bus routes in Yekaterinburg will be changed — routes No. 51, 56, and 67. This is related to the need to enhance safety and make trips more convenient for passengers.
Route No. 51 "Yelizavet - Academician Landau" will be extended without changing the interval of movement. The final stop will be moved from "Yelizavet" to the new point "Southern Substation" on Biseretskaya and Selkorovskaya streets. The decision is related to the fact that particularly large class buses operate on the line, for which the current turnaround is inconvenient and unsafe.
Route No. 56 "7 Keys - Novokoltsovsky Microdistrict" will change its route due to the lack of stops on the section of Technicheskaya Street. In both directions, buses will follow Angarskaya, Bilimbaevskaya, and Tavatuy streets, where equipped stopping points are available.
Route No. 67 "DMB No. 9 - School 'Constellation'" will also be adjusted. Due to the lack of a suitable final stop on Champions Street, buses will be extended to the new transport hub "Retail Park Solnechny." The new route will pass through Champions, Love, Luchistaya, and Neskuchnaya streets.
