Billionaire Sergey Mazurkevich has put the business center "Panorama" located at Kuybysheva Street, 44 "D" in Yekaterinburg up for sale, reports 66.RU.
The building, which is 24 stories high, has a square meter price estimated at 200,000 rubles and is being sold for 7.2 billion rubles.
The proceeds will be invested by its current owner, head of the Ural Mining and Industrial Holding Sergey Mazurkevich, into strengthening the warehouse logistics and production capacities of UGPX, the holding's press service reported.
The billionaire acquired the four-star hotel "Panorama" in 2022 for 1 billion rubles, writes 66.RU. The closure of the hotel in 2020 was linked to the coronavirus pandemic. Mazurkevich has renovated the premises for office use.
According to 66.RU, the enterprises "Seversky Granite Quarry," "Crushed Stone Plant," and "Uraldolomit," which are part of UGPX, are experiencing financial problems. They face bankruptcy due to debts exceeding 700 million rubles.
