In Serov, a local resident was arrested by the court for threatening a seller with an object resembling a weapon. The incident, which led to a criminal case, occurred last Thursday, April 9, at the "Krasnoe i Belye" store on Lev Tolstoy Street in Serov. According to the investigation, local resident Sergey Anuchin, who was in a state of alcohol intoxication, approached the cash register.
Taking out an object resembling a pneumatic pistol from his jacket, the man pointed it at the seller and, threatening, demanded a phone to make a call, reports the press service of the Sverdlovsk region courts.
The frightened cashier handed the man the phone and continued to assist him in making the call, having previously pressed the panic button.
Anuchin is charged under Part 2 of Article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (hooliganism committed with the use of weapons or objects used as weapons).
In choosing a preventive measure for the accused, the court took into account that he had a prior criminal record, was unemployed, and had no permanent income.
After reviewing the investigator's petition, the Serov District Court ruled to remand Sergey Anuchin in custody for 2 months. Earlier in February, a resident of the Pionersky settlement in Yekaterinburg was detained for robbery. He came to a flower kiosk at night and, threatening with a gun, took flowers and a stuffed toy without paying. According to neighbors, he had previously exhibited antisocial behavior.
