Easter cakes were baked for Easter in the Tagil colony IK-6, reports the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Sverdlovsk region.
“The bright holiday of Easter carries the spirit of renewal, hope, and forgiveness. Even in places of deprivation of liberty, the atmosphere of the holiday is felt in a special way. In order to maintain this magical atmosphere, it was decided to bake Easter cakes in the cafeteria for the staff of IK-6 for sale to employees and inmates through the order table,” the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service reports.
A total of four people from the special contingent work in the cafeteria for the staff.
Preparation for the holiday began long before the holiday itself. Many recipes were studied and tested, and a tasting was conducted to determine the best option. After that, the necessary ingredients were purchased.
“The process of making Easter cakes became a real ritual. The cafeteria workers put a piece of their soul into their creation, paying attention to every detail. Special attention was paid to decorating the cakes with icing and sprinkles to give them a festive look.
After the baking process was completed, the cakes were put up for sale to the colony staff and for implementation through the order table to the inmates. In a very short time, not a single Easter treat was left; all the cakes were sold out.
Many buyers noted the high quality of the baked goods and the sincere care put into each product. This became a pleasant surprise and a source of joy for the entire team,” the Federal Penitentiary Service reported.
