An employee of the WB pickup point in Kamensk-Uralsky was "reprimanded" for stealing orders.
In Kamensk-Uralsky, a verdict was handed down to the now former employee of the order pickup point of the marketplace "WB". Being a materially responsible person of LLC "RVB", the defendant Andrey Minchenko was engaged in stealing goods, reports the press service of the Sverdlovsk region courts. From December 2024 to December 2025, he processed refusals of his own orders. By recording the return of goods at the pickup point through his personal account, the defendant actually did not send them to the sorting center.
Among the stolen items were wedding rings, a baby stroller, a gaming console, a computer, and a desk for it. The total amount of damage was 166,426 rubles.
The Sinara District Court of Kamensk-Uralsky found the defendant guilty of committing three crimes under part 3 of article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Embezzlement or misappropriation of entrusted property using official position").
Minchenko admitted his guilt. As he explained to the court, he hoped that when the shortage was discovered, the employer would deduct the amount from his salary. However, the court viewed this position critically as a way to mitigate responsibility, since there was no such agreement with the employer.
Taking into account the information about the personality of the offender, mitigating circumstances, as well as the full compensation for the damage, the court imposed a final sentence on the defendant in the form of a fine of 110,000 rubles. The verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
