A competitor to the "Rosa Khutor" resort will appear in the Arctic region of the Urals.
The state expert review has approved the construction of an all-season Arctic resort in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, reports "Ъ-Ural." The information is posted on the website of the Main State Expert Review.
The all-season tourist complex "Ray-Iz" will be the first polar resort in Russia. The project is being implemented on the northeast slope of the Ray-Iz mountain range, in the valley of the Sob river. The developer is LLC "IFR-HARP" (part of "GPB-Infrastructure Holding," a subsidiary of Gazprombank). The Main State Expert Review of Russia has already issued a positive conclusion on the project documentation for facilities with a total area of almost 6,000 square meters.
The project includes the construction of a three-star hotel complex with 150 rooms (accommodating up to 320 guests) with two dining halls, a medical office, a bath complex with a hammam, a restaurant, and a cafeteria. Additionally, there will be a garage, a ski storage facility, and a non-food store.
The project provides for an accessible environment for people with limited physical abilities, as well as the allocation of 60 rooms for organized youth groups in a separate block (with its own entrance and dining hall).
