— The front is accompanied by brief precipitation. Rain is most likely in the eastern areas of the region. At the same time, thunderstorm activity will mainly shift to the Southern Ural and affect territories beyond the region. After the front passes, clearer weather and an increase in the influence of the anticyclone are expected in the Sverdlovsk region, the center of which is located off the coast of the Barents Sea. This will lead to a further decrease in temperature.
On the night of Thursday, frosts are possible in the northern and western areas of the region, both on the ground and in the air.
At the same time, the forecast looks quite optimistic, with only a slight cooling:
On May 20 in Yekaterinburg, variable cloudiness is expected, with possible brief rains. Northwest, north wind at 3-8 m/s, gusts up to 12 m/s. During the day — +20…+22 °C.
— May 21 (Thursday): at night +6 °C, during the day +20 °C, variable cloudiness
