— According to the Anti-Terrorism Commission of Sverdlovsk region, the restriction and slowdown of mobile internet is being implemented in Sverdlovsk region to enhance security. In conditions where mobile communication services are unstable, we recommend using wired internet or Wi-Fi, planning routes in advance using offline maps, and considering alternative payment methods that do not depend on the internet, — is the response to most questions in Telegram and VK.
However, the temporary slowdown, which has lasted for five days, does not answer the questions of Ural residents. Moreover, mobile operators do not recalculate the volume of services actually provided and charge for the use of the absent internet in full.
