In November 2024, a video appeared online showing the teenager hitting a girl on the head several times and then kicking her with force. It later turned out that the recording featured a 14-year-old student from School No. 2 in Nizhnie Sergei, and the victim was his classmate. The entire incident was filmed by a 14-year-old friend of the bully.
The result of the attack on the girl was a blunt chest injury with damage to the cartilage of the ribs on both the right and left sides. Before the trial, the accused was under house arrest and was studying at home, writes "KP-Ekaterinburg."
It was also established during the investigation that in September 2024, the teenager demanded 100 rubles from a 12-year-old student in the school corridor by pushing him in the shoulder.
In September 2025, the Nizhneserginsky District Court found him guilty under paragraph "d" of part 2 of article 112 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Intentional infliction of moderate harm to health for hooligan motives") and part 3 of article 30, paragraph "g" of part 2 of article 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted robbery") and sentenced him to 1 year and 8 months of conditional imprisonment, with a probation period of 2 years.
The videographer was not involved in the case, which raised questions from the victim's side.
After an appeal, the sentence was overturned, and the case was returned to the prosecutor. During the additional investigation, the schoolgirl who filmed the video was brought to court.
Turning on her phone camera, she said to her accomplice, "Let's go," the prosecutor's office reported. After that, the boy ran, jumped, and forcefully struck his classmate in the torso and left arm with his right foot.
A new sentence for the two defendants was issued on Wednesday, May 20, the Sverdlovsk region prosecutor's office reported.
The Nizhneserginsky District Court found the schoolboy and his friend guilty of hooliganism with the use of violence, committed by a group of individuals by prior agreement (part 2 of article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and of intentionally causing moderate harm to health, in relation to a minor, by a group of individuals by prior agreement, with particular cruelty and mockery, for hooligan motives (subparagraphs "v," "g," "d" of part 2 of article 112 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The teenager was also found guilty of extortion with the use of violence (subparagraph "v" of part 2 of article 163 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The court sentenced him to two years in a juvenile correctional facility. The ninth grader was taken into custody in the courtroom.
He will likely be delivered by FSIN employees for the State Final Exam (OGE).
The bully's friend received 1 year and 1 month of conditional imprisonment, with a probation period of two years.
