In the Sverdlovsk region, a high-ranking security official has been accused of large-scale fraud and abuse of power. The case against Colonel Ruslan Yusupov, the head of the Kirovgrad correctional colony, has been submitted to the court.
Yusupov will be tried under the articles "Fraud in a particularly large amount, committed by an organized group or resulting in deprivation of a citizen's rights to housing" and "Abuse of official powers, committed for mercenary or other personal interests."
The press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service for the Sverdlovsk region informed the E1.RU portal that Yusupov was exposed by the employees of the Internal Security Department of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Sverdlovsk region in collaboration with the regional FSB. The colonel has been dismissed from the Federal Penitentiary Service.
Earlier, it was reported that the former head of OP No. 2, Alexander Bannikov, was sentenced in Yekaterinburg.
