The Kolyada Theater asked for help from the audience.
The organizers of "Kolyada-Plays" have posted a QR code for donations from viewers on their social media, reports 66.RU.
"This year we did not receive a government grant for the festival. But the celebration will still take place," it is reported on the page of the "Kolyada Theater" on VKontakte. "Many are asking how to help the theater financially. You can always provide assistance through the theater's box office. For those who cannot personally come to the theater but want to help, we have created a QR code for donations."
As previously reported, this year the late N.V. Kolyada's theater did not receive a presidential grant for the "Kolyada-Plays." A total of 7.5 million rubles is needed to hold the "Kolyada-Plays" festival, writes 66.RU, most of which comes from sponsors (co-financing).
"We continue to do our work. We kindly ask you to support us in this. Buy tickets, come to the performances. We would be grateful for charitable donations for the organization of the festival. Thank you for being with us!" says the collective on social media.
For the festival, the ANO "Kolyada Theater" requested government support in December for the amount of 2.58 million rubles.
As reported in May by "Ъ-Ural," difficulties in obtaining a grant for the theater also arose in 2025. The reason could be that, according to the regional Ministry of Culture, the Kolyada Theater violated the deadlines for submitting reporting documents on grant expenditures for the festival in 2023-2024.
It should be noted that the Agency for the Development of Sysert is currently also collecting money from donors. Funds are needed to install a new staircase at the ironworking plant of the Turchaninovs-Solomirskys in Sysert, where the "Summer at the Plant" festival takes place every summer.
