The authorities of Yekaterinburg have come up with a way to increase the number of kiosks in the city.
In Yekaterinburg, the one-time fee for placing kiosks and pavilions may be canceled. The corresponding changes to the city regulations on non-stationary trading facilities were presented to the city council deputies by the director of the Department of Consumer Market and Services, Maxim Chaplygin.
Currently, entrepreneurs who win the auction for placing non-stationary trading facilities are required to pay both a one-time fee for the right to enter into a contract and an annual fee. According to the new proposal, the one-time payment is suggested to be completely abolished. In this case, businesses will only have to pay the annual amount, the size of which is determined based on the auction results.
According to Maxim Chaplygin, this measure will reduce the financial burden on entrepreneurs and simplify market entry. Primarily, the changes will affect the owners of retail outlets specializing in the sale of printed products.
The city administration hopes that the abandonment of the one-time payment will increase business interest in participating in auctions and increase the number of applications for placing non-stationary trading facilities.
In addition, the document clarifies certain procedural issues, including the timing of auctions and the procedure for calculating the duration of contracts.
The project has already passed the necessary approvals and will be considered at the next meeting of the Yekaterinburg City Duma.
