      June 4, 2026 A minibus transporting passengers on the route "Nizhny Tagil - Yekaterinburg" was involved in an accident on the "Yekaterinburg - Nizhny Tagil - Serov" highway, reported on Thursday by the State Traffic Inspectorate of Russia for the Sverdlovsk region.

      The accident occurred on Wednesday, June 3, around 15:30 at the 281st kilometer of the "Yekaterinburg - Nizhny Tagil - Serov" road (in the opposite direction) in the administrative territory of the Kirovgrad district. According to preliminary data, the driver of the Iveco minibus, operating route No. 640 "Nizhny Tagil - Yekaterinburg," while overtaking a vehicle moving in the same direction, did not notice a "Belarus" tractor that was on the roadside and conducting road works.

      The impact caused the minibus to be thrown onto the opposite shoulder. At that moment, there were 17 people in the cabin. After receiving the necessary assistance, the driver of the Iveco, a man born in 1976, was released to go home (he does not require treatment). He had previously been held accountable for traffic violations 6 times. No one else was injured in the accident. An investigation into the accident is underway.
