Festival "Movement" in Yekaterinburg. How it was
The third festival of motorcycle culture, music, and sports "Movement" gathered more than 150,000 guests from Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. About 5,000 bikers participated in the motorcycle parade.
For the first time, the festival lasted three days. The opening took place in Verkhnyaya Pyshma, where Metropolitan Yevgeny and Governor Denis Pasler gave the start to the motorcycle parade. The column was traditionally led by Ural motorcycles.
Around 20 venues operated in Yekaterinburg and Verkhnyaya Pyshma. The main novelty was the world's first enduro track on water, built around a fountain on the Iset River. Guests were also treated to motorcycle shows, stunt riding, moto freestyle, test drives, exhibitions, and the extreme attraction "Ball of Courage."
One of the most striking events was the custom show "Iron Business": craftsmen assembled a unique motorcycle based on the Ural engine according to a project by UrGAPU student Ekaterina Pegushina, and in the finale, it drove itself onto the main stage.
As part of the festival, competitions in water motor sports were held with the participation of 60 athletes from 15 regions of Russia, as well as the first night water show of hydroflyers in glowing suits.
The musical program was enhanced by performances from Yolka, the bands "Chizh and Co," "Northern Fleet," "Sova," and other artists. A total of 180 musicians performed on the festival stages. The first Women's Motorcycle Forum also took place.
Bright performances, the roar of engines, a rich entertainment program, and an atmosphere of freedom—our photo report captures the most memorable moments of this large-scale event.
