A new chain of hard discounters has arrived in Yekaterinburg.
The discount store chain "Golden Key" has opened its first store in Yekaterinburg, reports E1.RU. Previously, stores of this chain, which belongs to strict discounters, opened in Krasnoyarsk and Novosibirsk. In Yekaterinburg, the first retail outlet of "Golden Key" appeared on Patriot Street in the Uktus microdistrict. As noted in the publication E1.RU, a pack of butter at "Golden Key" and "Mayak" costs less than 50 rubles, or about 4 times less than in regular chains.
The legal entity of the store is registered in Chelyabinsk. According to E1.RU, the "Golden Key" chain is connected with two other discounters - "Svetofor" and "Mayak", which belong to JSC "Artkomm".
On its social media page, the discounter positions itself as "a new federal network of neighborhood stores with quality everyday goods at prices from manufacturers." It is worth noting that earlier the "Svetofor" chain across the country, including in Yekaterinburg, underwent inspections by supervisory authorities. The reason for the inspections was reports that the discounter was selling counterfeit products, including counterfeit butter.
