The Academic District Court of Yekaterinburg found him guilty of crimes under the articles "Illegal storage of drugs," "Illegal production of drugs," and "Illegal cultivation of plants containing drugs."
Police reminded that in December 2024, on the territory of a garden plot in the village of Rassokha in the Beloyarsky municipal district of the Sverdlovsk region, a man born in 1989 was detained by Yekaterinburg police with the support of the FSB. He turned out to be Igor Krupsky, the head of the agriculture and seed production department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Consumer Market of the Sverdlovsk Region.
During the inspection of metal containers on the plot, a laboratory was discovered, where a large number of plants and bags with suspicious contents were found, which were sent for examination. The expertise showed that the seized items were hashish and marijuana. The total weight was over 21 kilograms. In addition, there was equipment for growing agricultural crops in the premises. It became known that Krupsky did not act alone. The criminal case against the accomplices of the former official has been separated into a separate proceeding, reports EAN.
