According to her, the trees in the planters proposed by the project "do not live, but rather survive."
In the opinion of the "Atmofest" director, the presence of underground utilities will not hinder the full planting of trees with deep root systems, writes 66.RU. The fact that there will be enough depth for this is already evident from the holes for the lamp posts, the specialist believes.
Trees will not only lower the air temperature by 5-6 degrees Celsius in the heat. They disinfect and ionize the air, trap harmful dust, and absorb rainwater, explains the expert.
"We need to design not square meters, but life scenarios. The goal of the city is not to report on repairs, but to create a place where people want to stay," quotes Yulia Sorokina from the portal 66.RU.
