      In Verkhnyaya Pyshma, near school No. 3, a crowd of young people attacked a schoolboy who was walking with a friend. This happened on July 29 around 11:00 PM. The mother of the injured boy shared this on social media.

      She came to pick up her son and saw that he was covered in blood. He told her that at the moment of the attack, he was talking to his friend when six people, who looked to be between 12 and 15 years old, approached them. They knocked the boy to the ground, and then one of them stabbed the schoolboy in the chest.

      — My son is in the Regional Hospital. His life is not in danger. He has stab wounds. If it had been two centimeters higher or lower, the wound could have been fatal, the publication "KP-Ekaterinburg" quoted the woman.

      After the incident, the attackers fled. Law enforcement detained a suspect from Verkhnyaya Pyshma. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of the region.

      — The investigative department of Verkhnyaya Pyshma of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Sverdlovsk region has opened a criminal case against a 19-year-old local resident. He is suspected of committing a crime under the article "Intentional infliction of serious harm to health out of hooligan motives, using objects used as weapons," the agency clarified.

      The press secretary of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, Valery Gorelykh, added that two months ago, the detained individual had already attacked a Sverdlovsk resident with a knife after being reprimanded.

      — The Verkhnyaya Pyshma "gangster" was detained by detectives from the criminal investigation department of the local police. The terror of local children, 19-year-old Alexey, is being raised in a single-parent family by his mother. Recently, according to operational data, he has been registered at a medical institution. This is not the first criminal episode in his biography, Valery Gorelykh noted.
